Silica aerogel particles are translucent superinsulation materials based on pure silica. They are typically used in daylighting, cavity fill insulation or for insulation renders but also as insulating reflective coatings or rheology additives.

Silica aerogel particles SAP are next-generation silica aerogel in particle form. They are superinsulating and hydrophobic with high purity and high translucency while being extremely lightweight.

Due to advanced processing technology, the particles are not dusty and slightly elastic.

They are non-combustible and highly porous.

Typical properties:

  • Thermal conductivity: ≤ 0.019 W/(m*K)

  • Density: 45-65 kg/m³

  • No dust release

  • Slightly elastic

  • Translucent

  • Hydrophobic

  • Available in various particle sizes
