Our polyurethane aerogel products are based on the pioneering SLENTITE® technology, originally developed at BASF SE by the aerogel-it founding team over a decade of intensive research and development.

In early 2022, aerogel-it acquired the SLENTITE® technology from BASF SE, continuing its innovation journey in high-performance insulation solutions.

Polyurethane aerogel thin boards

Thin and sturdy PU aerogel boards (5 to 10 mm thickness) provide an ideal solution for applications where space is at a premium.

These boards offer superior thermal insulation compared to SLENTITE®, achieving values as low as 0.016 W/m*K, along with enhanced mechanical durability.

Thinnest Polyurethane Aerogel Sheets – Flexible, Ultra-Thin, and Highly Efficient

Polyurethane aerogel thin sheets

Our PU aerogel sheets (0.5 mm to 2.0 mm thickness) offer an ultra-thin, dust-free insulation solution for extremely confined spaces where flexibility and high thermal performance are essential.

These sheets outperform SLENTITE® with thermal conductivity values as low as 0.016 W/(m*K) and are currently being explored for thermal management of electronic devices.
